Toe Cleavage

Toe cleavage! Are you into it? I am into it!

These are the shoes my mom gave me that used to be orange but which I dyed burgundy last year. I remember her giving them to me and being excited about the toe cleavage! At the time I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but now I love it.

In fact I love it so much that I continue to wear these shoes even though they are not the most comfortable. They are good for an evening out but not so good for a full work day. Despite knowing this, I couldn't resist matching them to the rest of my burgundy outfit today. I'll deal with the fall-out later.

But back to toe cleavage. I don't know what it is, maybe how delicate it makes everything feel? The cut of the vamp is a lovely frame that hints at the anatomy of the foot without a full reveal. I like the big swath of open top-of-foot; it's like the ultimate neutral shoe. I enjoy how you can see the delineation between toes without getting the full sausage-toe effect.

Do you enjoy toe cleavage? Do you recoil at the sight? Have you even ever THOUGHT ABOUT toe cleavage? Discuss!
